Day 1

Lesson 1-1: One of the most important means of expression in drawing manga is the eyes. In Japan and elsewhere, it's commonly believed that eyes are the "mirror of the soul" and can make a character be angry or kind, sad, happy, surprised, etc. First of all, in our course we will learn how to draw eyes.

Lesson 1-2: We will study the basic principles of the head and proportions of the human face. We will consider and realize the face drawing of one character from different angles. We will understand the peculiarities of drawing men's and women's hairstyles. At the end of the lesson, we'll draw Naruto.

Day 2
Lesson 2-1: Today, many people's dream will come true. You will make your first ever Manga. Learn how to create a story framework using the well-known narrative structure: exposition -> plot -> climax -> denouement. Learn to work with Canva's online comic book builder.

Lesson 2-2: By the end of the day, you will have figured out the ready-made templates and learned how to change the positions and the size of the character. Change emotions, hair and clothes. Get to grips with text and dialogue. Create a full-fledged comic strip using character templates.

Day 3
Deeper and deeper into the world of comics. You'll learn about different genres like detective, comedy, Otaku, Shounen, Supokon, Meha and others. Draw Narutto's friends "Sasuke Uchiha", "Sakura Haruno", "Kakashi Hatake". Realize one of the studied genres. Learn to work with the background so that you can fully display the emotions of the character, as well as the peculiarities of the weather and landscape.

Day 4
Lesson 4-1: It's important for a manga writer to go beyond just writing a text and try to outline the script in the simplest, most schematic storyboard. It helps to set the rhythm of the story, to see if the dialogues are too much and if there are inconsistencies in the narrative. This is a common practice in Japan, and screenwriters tend to work with the storyboard.

Lesson 4-2: Create a science fiction manga "Between Two Worlds" Where events intertwine between reality and illusion. Drawing and editing in Canva.

Day 5
Create a science fiction adventure manga called "The Glory of the Star Seas".
Earth, XXXI century. Fifty years ago, humanity repelled the Great Alien Invasion, which took the lives from most of the planet's population. Restoring civilization from the ruins and continuously competing with their parallel world, the Celestial Kingdom, people have no idea that a new interstellar war is just around the corner.
