Our Story

Who we are?

We are IT STEP Academy, a Ukrainian company that was developing business in the sphere of non-formal IT education since March 2018. Within these years, we have launched classes in Geneva, Lausanne, Vevey, Basel and Zurich. In Switzerland we were mainly focused on programs for children from 4 to 13.

The business was growing well and we were planning a big change inspired by our parents. We had a plan to design new programs to experience various professions, improve soft skills and. Everything to prepare for the future life ahead. Thus, School of Life. Digital education is an important part, but knowing who you are and what do you want to do is even more important.

However, our world have changed on 24.02.2022. Our Ukrainian remote colleagues became refugees, lost their homes and hopes. Our operations got paralyzed.

After the first shock, we started to act. The School of Life will be established. Non-formally, online, outdoors, in part-time rented spaces, but  working. It will also become a place where Ukrainian refugees can find work and Ukrainian children a safe place to learn new things.
